Aerospace Series Rod Ends

Male Rod Ends

Female Rod Ends

Aircraft rod ends not requiring military approval, but manufactured under the same quality and SPC systems as the military approved bearings. Many of these rod ends have been approved to individual customer specifications and or standards. Dimensions and configurations follow established industry conventions. Products range in bore size from .1900 to 1 inch, with threads from 10-32 through 1 1/4"-12. All feature one-piece, full swage steel raceway construction. Total traceability is maintained through manufacturing up to and including shipping. In addition to catalog offerings, non standard materials substitutions and dimensional modifications are possible, to meet specific customer application requirements.

Male

MaleRod ends with external or male body threads. All are made with the solid, or one-piece race construction method and feature the advantages of metal-to-metal contact between bearing components. All balls are precision ground and heat treated. Threads are rolled to appropriate classifications. Series with PTFE lined raceways all feature Aurora's proprietary AT 3200 liner system, fully qualified to AS81820 for smooth backlash-free fit.

Female

FemaleRod ends with internal or female threads. As with Aurora male rod ends, all are made with the solid, or one-piece race construction method and feature the advantages of metal-to-metal contact between bearing components. All balls are precision ground and heat treated.
