The Aurora Bearing product line features over twenty different series of rod ends in inch, or imperial dimensions. From the economy commercial CM series through the performance racing PRM series, Aurora has a standard catalog series bearing for every rod end need.

Products range in bore size from 1/8 to 2 inch, with threads from 6-32 through 2"-12. All feature one-piece, full-swage steel raceway construction, with the exception of the SPM/SPW series, which feature a proprietary low friction high wear resistance molded liner. Aurora PTFE liners are available in most series.

Male

MaleRod ends with external or male body threads. Standard catalog series include products with low carbon, high strength heat treated alloy steel, stainless steel, and Aluminum bodies. Race materials include low carbon, or heat treated alloy or stainless steels. Ball materials include sintered steel, alloy or stainless steel. All balls are precision ground and heat treated. Threads are rolled to appropriate classifications. Many series are available with PTFE lined raceways, for smooth backlash-free fit.


Female

FemaleRod ends with internal or female threads. As with Aurora male rod ends, a wide variety of materials are available resulting in products to fit any need. Standard catalog series include products with bodies made from low carbon, high strength heat treated alloy and stainless steel. Race materials include low carbon, or heat treated alloy or stainless steels. Ball materials include sintered steel, alloy or stainless steel. All balls are precision ground and heat treated. Many series are available with PTFE lined raceways, for smooth backlash-free fit.
